New Orleans Isn't Coming Back. It Never Left.

In 2005, 80% of New Orleans was flooded as a result of Hurricane Katrina. But as the waters rose, so did the city's spirit. This tourism campaign from writer Eben Conopask proves just how tough New Orleans is with well-written, thought-provoking copy. These ads tap into the city's history and give you a taste of NOLA's enduring culture and soul, without relying on beads, alcohol and the oft-trotted-out Mardi Gras. The art direction uses contrast to reinforce the city's lively and colorful nature. The tagline "The City That Never Quits" crystalizes the idea that the Big Easy has done everything but taken the easy way out.
